Problem
What's the difference between Ultrasoft CheckBook and Ultrasoft Money version 4?

Solution
Ultrasoft Money synchronizes directly with Microsoft Money. CheckBook does not synchronize.

Ultrasoft Money version 4 also includes a budgeting module. CheckBook does not.

If you do not use Microsoft Money, but plan to install Money 2002, 2003, 2004 or 2005 in the future, you can:

- install CheckBook, then purchase an upgrade to Ultrasoft Money later, or

- purchase and install Ultrasoft Money now. The setup will detect that Microsoft Money is not installed on your computer, and will offer to either install Ultrasoft Money Solo Edition, or install Ultrasoft Money for Microsoft Money "to be installed later".

Ultrasoft Money Solo Edition does not synchronize, but uses a Money registration code (rather than a CheckBook registration code). Later, after you install Microsoft Money, run the Ultrasoft Money setup again and follow the upgrade instructions in the User's Guide.

If you choose to install Ultrasoft Money for Microsoft Money "to be installed later", you will not be able to synchronize Ultrasoft Money until you actually install Microsoft Money.
