Once installed, Ultrasoft Money for Windows Mobile will synchronize with most versions(*) of Microsoft Money under Vista or Windows 7, but you must make sure that your Microsoft Money database is fully accessible.
Vista and Windows 7 have a feature called the User Account Control (UAC). In order to use Vista or Windows 7, you need to understand how UAC works, or disable it.
By design, UAC prevents "user mode" applications such as Ultrasoft Money and Microsoft Money from accessing the same file in the "Program Files" heirarchy.
If your Microsoft Money database is in a folder with restricted rights, you should move it to another folder where access rights are not restricted (such as your "My Documents" folder).

Microsoft Money 2002, 2003 and 2004 require administrator rights, so Vista or Windows 7 will prompt for permission each time you synchronize Ultrasoft Money, open its settings or run the Ultrasoft Money diagnostic.
